?? Its sounded like the tranny blew on the snake but the driver of the camera car (sounded like some turbo 4-cyl) was like f*ck my tranny? cuz it sounded like whatever broke was a v8 and the sparks flew off the Cobra...?

Sucks to be the camera car but where are you guys seeing sparks? Do you mean the reflectors on the median wall because that's all I'm seeing.

The "sparks" were the reflections of lights off of the hood. The damage was definately in car. Thats sucks.

yeah i have seen this on a few cobras around here and experienced it myself. the tranny in the losing car blew, but the sparks were coming from the cobras front brakes. you shock them and they will do that, especially if they are still relatively new. i think the cars are actually under braked now for the weight and power.
