My cobra came with colour matched painted trim in the interior. Guage bezel, door handle, vent trim, radio bezel and door handles.stock seems to be a dark grey but I see a lot of painted pieces in pics. Are they all done aftermarket? Do any come stock? Tenth anniversary?

Painting trim was a trend in the last decade so I'm sure it was something that was done by a previous owner. Thank god that its fading out because it looks terrible 99.9999999999998% of the time.

Agreed. It look awhile for me to warm up to the 10th Annys just because of those door panel pieces. Painting the dash bezels, shifter, and console areas is just ridiculous IMO.

trim panels are the same for all years so just pick up mint parts used, the only issue would be the shifter bezel.... getting the shift boot re-attached is not fun/easy its fused onto it.

The dodge caliber had the option of buying the center console painted the same color as the car, which is why I was wondering if it was an available peice to buy. I know their all the same, but the pre-painted ones would probably have a different part for the 10th anniversary models, right?

I had the door bezels and center painted torch red with a satin clear finish. Some hate it, when done right I really like it. I love mine.

Saleen cars were painted to match on those pieces. Looked good just because that's how it came from the dealer/aftermarket.

Agree 100%. Looks good in your car but not anything I would consider for mine.

Thanks. I know a lot of people don't like it but I do lol. I hate when the vents, door handles and gauge piece are painted though. I feel like it's overkill at that point. Also I had these don't at a body shop and they came out perfect and could pass as "factory". I also think the red pulls it off. Just my opinion.

I like it when its just on the door only' wish mine was painted to match

I think I am going to do the door only as the grey finish on the drivers door has some noticeable wear. I may order some replacements from LMR and paint the originals Oxford white since I will never be able to match the factory finish.

It really stands out and is bright. Now if my Cobra was a show car.. (LOL Daily Driver) I'd definitely do it for that. But it's just too much for me.

Is it enamel? Clearcoat? I worry about how it would wear too. Again for everyday use.

Not sure if you're referring to mine. Had mine done at a body shop and it's torch red with satin clear coat. It's been in my car for over a year. With about 6,000 miles of driving, having passengers, wearing watches and having people with rings bracelets etc, I don't have a scratch any of my pieces. If some correctly it holds up well.
