Panhard bar wierdness

Any idea why the stock panhard bar sounds like an Austrailian Rain Stick? Swapped out mine with a BMR adjustable when I installed my new Steeda springs (pics coming) and it sounds like it is filled with something like sand or lead shot. Wierd :??:

when I removed mine noticed the same thing, apparently its that way for the weight to transfer from side to side ....:shrug:

No, I never heard anything while driving. That's why I was so suprised when I pulled it off.
