Q: Will it allow me to run 2005 cobra 4V heads on my 5.4 block?

Only technically. They were bought in 2005 from Ford parts.(not from a car).
They are the 2003-2004 type but have the 9 thread improvement.

2003 or 2004 take your pick.

OK.........Does anyone know what the differences are in the GT40 Supercar lower manifold?

Can they be made to fit a more commonly available set of heads? A hell of a lot can be done with welding and machining
to fit them to say...2003-2004 Cobra heads or even a set of ported Navi 4V heads.

At a $399 price tag, I might buy one to experiment on.

You'll have to have spacers to run a 4.6 manifold on a 5.4 block (due to the differences in deck height).

There are adapters from places like MMR for 4.6 to 5.4 parts
