picked up my lightning yesterday !!!!!!!!!

well i had to drive 12hrs round trip. traded in the cobra for an 04 red lightning
brand new. i think it might of been the last one on the east coast. all i can say is this thing is a beast. can't what to mod it. will post some pics tommorow. need some ideas on my first couple of mods. i got about $1000 to spend.

congrats on the purchase. First thing I would do is drop the back end, 03 and 04's sit to high for my taste.

FTVB and a good CAI would be a start. Try and see if ya can squeeze in some exhaust to. Cause these trucks are way too quiet from the factory!

well i live philadelphia pa had to drive to new castle pa. 361 miles each way all i can say is that it was worth the trip. what type of drop kit are using to drop the rear.
any difference in ride quailty?

( if the money is there anyway)

yeah it will ride better, atleast to me it did
and some shackles are how to lower it enough for now
later you can do hangers, but thats more to slam it
