Someone correct me if Im wrong but if you go up in width doesn't the height go up a bit too even if you stayed the same height. Say you went from a 285/35 to a 305/35? Someone told me this but Ive never really checked myself to see if it was true. If it does or doesn't I'm sure it couldn't be much.

Keoni I've seen people running 305 with np.

Op thats A LOT of money! I'm no roadcourse expert but I dont think theres any negatives or positives with what size rim and tire your running up front.

That looks good! But unfortunately I would have to custom build some rims to have a larger offset than what they offer in the single piece cast wheels I'm looking into. Plus I like me some concave. :D

the first number, 315/35, is the nominal width of the tire in mm. the next number 315/35 is the height of the sidewall, in mm, expressed as a percentage of the nominal width. So yes, increasing the trie width and keeping the same series sidewall/aspect ratio increases the tire height.

Rears are niche nurburgs 20x10 +40. Tires NT05 315/35?20. FRPP K springs

With no drop they did rub on hard bumps but barely, now that I'm dropped they rub all the time. With a +40 wheel the wheel itself is pretty much flush with the fender. A 295/40 is 10 mm narrower than what I have which will be 5mm inboard than mine theoretically, but that depends on the tire manufacturer. Your choice would be considerably taller and know you would rub badly. I'm in the process of trying to get my mounting pad of my wheels shaved down 5-7mm. I ordered some 275/35/20 tires to run for now but will find a way to run the 315/35/20 rears because I love the fat tire look.

Pics to give reference from tire/fender

Were running 2953520 on basic eibach springs on my bros 2011 GT. There is absolutely no way he can run a 29540. You can only fit a finger or too between the tire and wheel.

a 275/35 on a 10.5 rim will not fit. Period. Contact patch of the tread on the road is only 9.3" on most tires that size. You will look like every stanced out Honda in Cali, no offense.

On a 10.5 rim, I'd go no smaller than a 285, but 295 would be preferable.

Hate to say but your wrong is does fit tried out a Yokohama tire 275 35 20 when i first got them, and the fit was there no honda stretch look, but wanted to try 285 30 or 35 before buyin my tires but no one had any available to try.
Take a look at pic. Should i go up to a 285 30 tryin to get aggresive look without rubbin issues

I thought a 10" rim was max width for a 275 tire...but you're right, it does fit from your picture. I don't think it's ideal to run that setup though. I would imagine the sidewall is already stressed.

I would think a 285 should work.

Go through the 2011+ Wheel and Tire thread that is a sticky here and look through some setups. that's what I did before starting this thread. I know there is a guy running a 10.5 rim with fatties out back....but IDK if he is lowered...

My only concern, because you know once you by them tires theyre yours. Was also thinkin of raising rear abit with prokit. Dont get me wrong this would be for a cruising street setup and meets, I will have a set up for the track

I appreciate the repsonse, but I really would like to stay around the 540AA UTQG rating that these DWS have, also stay in the ultra high perf all season category.

To me, this is the most interesting post in this thread. Can you elaborate on *why* you want that rating, and why you want all-seasons?

It's on the wheel but doesn't really fit. It is clearly stretched. On a 10.5 you should at least have a 295 on there.

Maybe because his car is driven year round and he doesn't want to buy new tires every year? At least that's why I bought them.
