One coil cut front and rear.
ISO's still in place.

To answer your question, you cut from the top.

I'm not 100% sure on the GT springs as to whether or not they are linear or progressive...I know the 03/04 Cobra springs are linear which means their preload and rebound is the same all the way through the spring. Which in other words means if you cut one coil, all it changes is the ride height. Double check on your GT springs. It's actually a pretty simple install since you have a solid axle rear. You're going to need caster/camber plates in the front though (get the Maximum Motorsports set up...can't go wrong with them). After you pull your springs, cut them and put the C/C plates back on, you'll want to get a 4 wheel alignment done.

Hope this helps ya', good luck! :)

Does anyone have any problems with the crossmember bottoming out over speed bumps or large pot holes?

Reason I ask is that I have ford racing c springs and i cut a full coil and it scrapes over everything. Thanks guys!

No. I actually had problems getting the stock aligned. When cut the springs and took it back to get realigned the business doing the aligning was able to get a better alignment.

Did everyone have to use caster camber plates to align once you cut them?

Here are pics of mine. I cut 9/16th's of a coile in the front and 10/16th's in the back. It lowered it about one inch. The pics were right after it was done. It has settled a little lower since. I can't go lower or I won't be able to get in my driveway. Can't tell much difference in the ride except maybe a little stiffer.

can this be done on an sn95 too? From the sounds of it the ride is still decent and all these cars look awesome.

You can cut springs on any car. Mine rides like stock, but it just sits lower. Still comfy.
