is this a GPS unit? if so, do you know if it has UK/ROI maps or just USA? Which version of AppRadio is this unit running, what firmware and such?

nvm, this unit does not do GPS... its not a very expensive unit online...

This would be a nice unit that is plug and play for someone with an 03 or 04 Mustang.
