PLEASE! make sure you are running 91 octane at least

Just want you guys to know these engines will burn exhaust valves if you allow low octane fuel in your baby....
We have had to do quite a few Aviator(same heads/engine as mach) valve jobs under warranty, and every last one on the test drive after, was pinging it's a$$ off!
I know we are mostly all enthusiasts here, so probably not an issue with you guys, but just thought you should know.

BTW Although i've been quite vocal about saving for an 03/04 cobra I absolutely LOVE-LOVE-LOVE these machs! Every time I pop the hood on one they remind me of the old glory days when we actually had BOSS 429s coming in under warranty...freaking wall to wall engine baby!

I have thought about it zincdude. There is a black one i see almost every day on the way to work....That black on that car is drop dead gorgeous....sick,sick,sick!
Plus no axle hop!
and light!
