Porting the CJ intake manifold

I wouldn’t pay anyone 200-300 to port the CJ. I have worked these intakes before, really easy to clean up the runners with a Dremel (low speed) use carbide cutting tip to take down edges etc in the runner, around injector bosses and TB inlet, then sanding rolls to smooth these areas. After that you can move up to finer grits by hand to really smooth runners/inlet (120-1000 grit assorted pack)...I wouldn’t remove too much material from the runners, you really just want to clean them up, lightly port and smooth them.

If you cant do it yourself then I believe it is worth it to pay someone, you can end up doing more harm then good with a bad port job and its been proven to be worth about 10ish HP/TQ when done right

I personally wouldn't pay anyone because it really is easy. Just do what 03Sssnake said and don't get in a hurry. I ported and smoothed my boss mani in about 5-6 hours.
