LOVE THE X5!!!
I've been looking at them. So nice. Any impressions so far?

It does some odd things like every time you stop the brakes stay applied. But the more I’ve driven it the more I get used to it’s safety aspects. It only has 160 miles so I haven’t gotten into it, but it should be as quick as the 18 tuned explorer. The interior very nice. It does drive very good, and has much better road isolation from bumps.

Nice man.

Maybe there's a setting that you can turn on/off for the braking?? That would kinda throw me off as well.
Good luck with it. (y)

Like when you're on a hill? Our edge does this. Soon as you step on the gas, they release?

**** Biden
Like that but all the time. As soon as you hit the gas it releases. But what's really annoying is it does it this just going from reverse to drive. I guess BMW people get use to it.

Couldn't find anything regarding that. I was able to turn off their version of lane keeping assist. I did also find that the blinkers work fantastically, contrary to popular belief.

How does your wife like her ST? I like the winter wheels. The color actually goes well with the blue paint.
We both like it.....there have been a good bit of people that have had issues with them. From lots trim issues, trans issues, rear diff issues and even motor failures. But, ours has been pretty problem free. Got some wind noise at speed from the passenger rear door, supposedly calls for replacing entire door glass and trim as one piece, will wait on that
The park sensors get a little picky at times but really that's been it. It rides good, has great power and is roomy. I had planned on really modding it but wife didn't want that...until she heard one with exhaust on it. So I just threw the MBRP axle back muffler delete on it. But, Ill save all the mods for the TBSS as its getting several com spring.

I imagine that can be coded out but that must be a feature they added on the current gen. My mother has a 2015 X5 and it has hill assist mode which will lock the brakes on a hill if you enable it, but it won't do that at every stop on flat ground.

Did you buy or lease this, also I imagine its a 40i with the B58?

purchase. 40i, with the 22's and whatever else the wife wanted. Somehow it doesn't have cooled seats? In south Louisiana...
