What's going on with the two black circles on the front bumper?

Ever think about adding a mach 1 chin?
Might help protect that unicorn 99/01 front. I'd rather replace a plastic chin spoiler occasionally than risk tearing that front bumper up

I intend to install a Magic Drift chin spoiler. Funny story, I bought this bumper back in 2000 when they were “cheap” (less than $400). An old lady ran a STOP sign and hit the side of the stock bumper. TBH it wasn’t that bad but enough for the insurance company to approve a new bumper as one of the tabs broke. When I went to the body shop, we found (out of curiosity) that the Cobra bumper was cheaper than a GT/V6 bumper. And it makes sense; from 2000-2002 there was a surplus of 1999-2001 Cobra parts as the 2000 and 2002 MYs were not produced.
Anyway, I’ve had this car/bumper for 22 years, most them being a daily (124K miles). 3 out of 4 tabs were broken so I decided to drill four 3/4” holes into this Unicorn to keep it in place. But, they simplify things when working in the front and inside of the wheel wells. Stuff like this:

Such a breeze tbh. Pop the hood, remove the radiator cover plugs and that bumper is out in less than a min. When my car goes for paint I’m doing the same, **** taking it off with all the procharger piping in there

Oh man don't make me choose . I need a little more seat time is this 350. But honestly, for my style of driving it fits quite well.Sooo…which one is the favorite? If you could only keep one…

Years ago I use to be into drag racing. I now enjoy spirited driving with twisties more than anything.
