I was just wondering if anybody on here was a previous owner of this car. I bought it of a guy up here in Alaska but he bought from Cosmo Motors in North Carolina. It’s pretty rare. Factory stripe delete, glass roof, TP, PP, NAV and shaker. Every option car. Just wanting to build a history.

Well done! I too like the stripe delete and own one. Mine is a DIB, glass roof, all options 2013 that I bought from a Ford dealer in Iowa back in mid 2014. I had to wait a year for pricing to come in because of all the ADM's going on prior to that. Not the best picture...........but darn glad to be here ! PS, I would add, wouldn't the guy's name be on the title when you receive it? Dealers may be reluctant to give out names. If so, just wait for that and go from there.

You'll figure it out. These things do get around, its no big deal provided there isn't any latent damage done along the way (but you would know it anyway). I own a limited edition Ferrari that went from Italy to New Jersey, then off to a dealer in San Francisco where it was purchased and trucked to its new owner in Phoenix Arizona and then sold to someone in Massachusetts where a dealer there got him to sell it and took it to Austin Texas. I purchased it from the dealer in Austin Texas and had it shipped to where I live in the suburbs of Chicago. In spite of all that, I am the 3rd owner.

As you speak of Alaska, (so beautiful I bet) I also own a 1974 SD 455 Trans Am that was originally sold out of the country in Ontario Canada. After a lengthy ownership, the new owner had it shipped by train out to British Columbia (sort of your neck of the woods). It later went on to Colorado and I stepped up to be the 4th owner of a real rare car.

I love the knowledge of the past, its just too bad that the provenance isn't shared by many others.

Wow, that is pretty cool that you own a LE Ferrari and a 1974 SD 455 Trans Am. Those Super Duty Trans Ams are awesome. Congrats! Can you post photos of your Ferrari and Trans Am?

Yeah, you know, I hesitate to call a Super Duty 455 anything near a screaming chicken since this Super Duty would in many runs, murder a big block chevy or a destroy a big block mopig......Fun stuff, mine is good for low 12's at 115 MPH (yes a well tuned Chrysler will do 11's or better tidat given the chance).....thing is, its too rare to do that anymore...sigh....mine does NOT have the chicken on the hood and that was important to me. Your GT 500, like mine, they build that pedigree.....down the road.....some pretty cool things here.....

Sorry to disappoint you but I don't have a La Ferrari, but I do have a 2015 Speciale Aperta which is a limited edition also. I tried to send a picture of the SD 455 Trans Am unfortunately when I inserted it, the file was rejected as being too big? I don't get it. I only have a few pics (I only recently figured out how to post them) and I need to take some more. I will say as a kid, my first love was Pontiac and I am a Pontiac guy. This SD that I have is only 1 of 1 known to exist in its presented form of white with white standard interior and a Turbo 400, 3:42 gear, no radio, 23,000 original miles. If I can figure out how to send one, I will.

:iagree:

@1 Alibi 2 forgive my ignorance but did they raise the cost of the report? I thought a year or so back it was still like 50 60 bucks?
I'm not @1 Alibi 2, but I don't think there's been any change in pricing. Marti offers multiple reports. The (still available) $50-$60 option is their "Deluxe" version. An $80 "Personalized Statistics Report" was more recently added to their lineup. They show slightly different info, with the latter providing a level of detail down to your car is "1 of XXX" built with your specific combination of options.
This is sorta cool.
My friend, O.W. Kenobeno, created the atchd spreadsheets that make manipulation of 2013 & 2014 production numbers pretty easy.

And I'm sorry to disappoint YOU, but you misread my post. LOL. I never said you had a La Ferrari. I said LE Ferrari, as in Limited Edition Ferrari.

Good looking Ferrari, by the way. Do you get to drive it much?

Thats funny on the post and thanks on the Ferrari. No, not yet. I picked it up toward the end of October and here in Illinois, the seasons closing was not far off but thats OK, time moves fast and to tell you the truth, I will keep mileage real low on it. Pretty much what I am doing with my Shelby GT500 and the SD 455.

Please don't laugh at this one, I was able to get the picture of the SD 455 to fit. Its just that I had to cut it up to do it. Hope this at least gives you an idea of it
