we messed with it for a bit trying to get the 74.5" belt to slide over the top idler for a few minutes but couldnt get it so we took the top idler off (leaving the bracket of course) and then put the belt on. top idler went back on in 2 seconds. if you are trying to force the belts on with these pullies try taking the top idler off and then putting the belt on. much much easier. i am sure that someone has posted this before but with all the posts i have read with complaints about getting the belt on i thought i would post this.... epper:
