I have an L&M built motor and the crank snout broke off. I'm running an F1-c with a cog belt. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. The cog pulley is about a foot away from the end of the crank...too much leverage. I'm sure others have had this problem. Anyone know what Procharger has done, if anything, to address it?

He's referring to a brace between the blower and crankshaft that connects via fixed bearings. Kurgan and Mitchell made them at some point. Why are you running a cog setup? The picture below is what I am talking about.

I've never seen that turnbuckle/brace before. I'm running a cog because that's what was on the car when I bought it. Evidently the rib setup was slipping at my boost levels (20 lbs).

This happened to a friend of mine running the identical setup, everyone he talked to said not to go with the cog setup on the coyote
