I think at E-9 I'd be more pleased with those pension checks after retirement. :banana:
Congrats SGM M! I will hopefully reach that rank during my career in the Army. I have 12yrs in now and should have my E-6 within 18 months.

27. I seen some great young guys with 15 years getting pinned on. Must be excellent soldiers to do it in that time frame.
Hang tough, do everything with a purpose, set goals beyond your own expectations and you'll get there. Don't get frustrated with setbacks just look at them as another leadership challenge. Have a little fun in there too! I never recall a day where I said, "Crap, I have to go to work today!"

So then I have to ask seeing as how you have 27 years in, when did you graduate Q course?
Feb 1990, I started selection in May 1989. Before that I was attached to 5th SFG from the 101st. Why were you curious about my Q-course grad date?
