Pros & Cons of a stall converter in a Lightning?

I read in an old mm&ff about lightnings and it strictly said that getting a stall over 2400 would cause more damage than it would help it. Don't know if it's true though cause I don't have a stall in the L yet.

Cool, thanks. Factory Tech seems like the way to go for me, but I was curious about some of the other companies people on here listed.
