I've searched...

2.93/4lb

or 2.76/2lb

This will be in conjunction with a 40hp shot of the giggly...

Anyone have any comments?

I hear some conflicting arguments on when the blower is actually over spinning. Some say 14lbs of boost is too much, others say 17lbs of boost is too much.

I'm looking to get 16/17 the best way possible. What is the advantage of a 2.93/4lb and a 3.1/6lb?

The help is greatly appreciated!!

More belt on the upper pulley.

Just remember that with the larger lower pulley you will be spinning your alternator more and more, resulting in premature failure. Personally I would go with the 2.76/2lb lower. You would likely get the same numbers with the 2.93/4lb lower, but not as much strain on the alternator. Or you could just skip the lower completely and stick with the 2.76! You might be just as happy with that, and if you are ported, you could still see 500/500 numbers without the nitrous. I personally think anything over 15psi is more than the Eaton can handle.

I run a 2.76 Upper and 4lb lower. Have had this combo for over 20,000 miles. Very happy with it. Belt slip isnt an issue.

I'm barely getting 15lbs with my 2.93/4lb combo. I'm throwing a 2.8 on it instead of a 6lb to avoid the alternator underdrive pulley.

The more and more I think about it, a 2.76/2lb would be a sweet little combo. Anyone running one fo these with success and numbers?

an underdrive alternator pulley is like $35....I would do the larger lower to get the torque without worrying about belt slip...plus it looks stock as hell..
