So, the average driver with those mods would run 11's and consistently trap 120+ MPH?
I don't think so.
Same goes for the Cobra.
Don't put words in my mouth I never said 120+. Honestly I would say ~118 for both but my money would be on the 5.0.
Proven to trap higher? uh no not really but ok

I said 118 avg for both. 5.0 has been 120+ at full weight. not to mention 123 is rare if not the full weight best for a pullied only car.

I said mid to high 11s (11.7 or so) at around 120. Yes, those results are very commonly seen from a pullied Cobra. Very good drivers have seen low 11s at around 123mph. Lows 12s and up isn't a very good time for a pullied Cobra.
I don't own a cobra
I just don't see a Bolt on 5.0 running deep 11's @ 120+ like a well driven pullied cobra will run.
Once the 5.0 came out, their new owners thought they were the fastest out there. It's sad an 8 year old car is still faster. Even thought I'd rather have a 5.0 than a terminator, that doesn't mean because I think the 5.0 is faster. Just preference.

I've never seen a Bolt-on FULL WEIGHT 5.0 trap 120, let alone 123 even once.
I've seen multiple 117-119's out of a bolt-on 5.0 with some weight reduction.
Not saying it hasn't happened, or can't, just have not seen it with out own 1.5 eyes.
My cobra with pully exhaust and air filter trapped 124 in the 1/4 mile ran 11.7 granny shifting with a 1.7x 60ft and I'm not the greatest stick shift car driver
