Question about removing EGR tube?

I want to do an EGR delete. I have a KB 2.2 and I want to remove the EGR tube, without cutting it. I read that some members needed to cut the tube. I don't want to cut the tube. Just in case I need to reuse it in the future. Have you guys been able to remove the tube without cutting it and how did you go about this?

I tried every dang way possible,from the top,bottom,etc.I ended up cutting it.

Saw my tuner do it...
Loosen from the top...lift the car up on a rack...get underneat and loosen the tube, pull it out from underneath. Then apply the cap...

^ +1. unbolt from top and unscrew from the header. block off plate and cap will work.
