question on used gears

so i have a set of 3.73 out of my old bullitt with about 30k on them. I got to thinking i could put them on my new 5.0 what do you guys think? will it be ok to use a set of used gears? I think the car would really pull hard with them. I dont plan on going to the track just having fun on the street.

I put used 331s in mine and they work just fine

ehhhhh idk. I have 3.31s sitting im my basement that were out of my 2010 with only 6k miles. I feel that for like $150 your just better off with new gears this way you dont risk any chances of whining or anything. The gears were groved/broken in to the previous car and previous install. If they dont go back the EXACT same way which they wont you may risk getting a whine.

It's possible. A real pain to setup. Much easier if you know the backlash it was at when they came out.
