questions about the IRS

a friend of mine has asked me to do a write up on the IRS from the 99's (my car) to the present day ones...i was wondering if you guys could give me some info on your years cars...i know the 99's came with 28 splines...01's with 31....did they stiffen them up for the 03's? any ways any info would be appreciated..i am currently working on a FAQ after seeing that you guys have one...mine will be for the 99 and 01's...some info might be helpful to you guys...check it out ...i'd appreciate any feedback (good or bad) on it...here's the link...under new edge faqhttp://www.omslaw.net/tech/

I believe the 2003 Cobra introduced the differential pinion brace that was first used on the 2000 Cobra R.

00-up drop the inner tie rod end mounting point by a few mm.

03-up have much larger axles and knuckles.

FYI...00R did not have a diff brace... :beer:
