Installing the idlers right now and was wondering if I should used a little thread locker on the bolts when putting them back or is tightening them good enough?

i would use some lock tight
Use lock tight. I had one almost back out without. I now have lock tight on all new pulleys.

Well if the bolt back out the pulley can wobble with a annoying squeal or even throw your belt and shread it to pieces .
I will be checking mine once in a while. Hopefully it will be fine.
i didnt install any thread sealer on mine. no issues yet...
None here for 3 years but I check them once a year.
Didn`t use anything either, been about 2 years.
