Do I need a wideband installed just to get baseline power numbers on a dyno? Called the shop and asked about getting some numbers just for the hell of it and he told me a price "with wideband"

If you are taking it to a shop they should have a wideband they can plug in, but they may have to weld a bung in which will incur an extra charge. If you are doing a remote tune you will need your own wideband.

"with wideband" means they'll put their dyno wideband in your exhaust for the pulls so you can see afr. shops usually charge a little extra for this. If you just got the car this is a must to make sure the tune is good.

shops arent gonna weld in a bung just to make a pull. Theyll either use a tail pipe sniffer or theyll pull one of your front O2s and put it in there
