Hard to tell from the video. 500 did a “roll by” on the start. ZL1 was carrying an extra passenger. What exactly is “full bolt on” on the ZL1? Usually that description is used by guys that are clueless.

That DCT in the 500 vs a manual in the 1LE is a helluva advantage, specially when the guy driving the stick is not badass at it. Not to mention the additional aero on the 1LE model.

Hard to see the outcome on a 3 second run with heavy traffic, but no doubt the GT500 has balls, though.

What I really want to see is the race with Demon.

of course there is. Obviously, stang guy is trying to look as good as possible for the tube. He already wasn’t straightforward about being modded, now it comes out that guy is only posting the run in his favor. Lol.

I thought the 500 would pull harder.

It has 100 more HP stock than the zl1, yet this one was tuned so probably 150 more hp than a stock zl1.

A bolt on e85 zl1 is likely still down on power vs this gt500.

Race appeared to be about even.

E85 pullied, catless Hellcat is a low 10/high 9 on a tire.
I guess there must only be a few 500s out there and it’s winter, but I’ll wait for track vids.
Waiting on a few guys, hopefully this weekend, that’ll have tuned 500s on DRs at the track.

Depends on tranny and wheel/tire set up. A8, rear seat delete and 18” drag pak all around and in decent DA could probably run very low tens.

Lol at people thinking a tuned gt500 isent enough for a fbo zl1 with the puny supercharger. I took out plenty with my 2.3tvs 2011.

I see a gt500 put a car+ in 5 seconds or so, maybe I’m just good with my peepers... it was “close” until the gt500 got to rap out 3rd and it clearly is walking away.

Disagree... every time the mullet shifted gears the 500 pulled, but was then realed in once the mullet was back on power.

I’d like to see it 2nd gear through the top of 4th
