Alright I got my R888s in the rear, 315/30/18. Now I'm trying to pick a front tire. My biggest thing is sidewall, I want it equal or just a bit smaller than the rear. What do you you R888 guys run up front? I was thinking about the Toyo T1 sports up front in 275/35/18

I've been racking my brain probably making this more difficult than it needs to be, but I can't find a solid answer on what the best matching tire would be. I even called Toyo but they weren't able to tell me because I'm over the 3% difference of stock so they can't say anything for liability reasons. :nonono:

If your front is an 18x9 wheel the 275/35/18 should be the same height as that 315/30/18. I believe a 265/35/18 will match it as well, but you'll have to see the tire dimensions from the manufacturers of whatever tires you're considering and it'll tell you the overall diameter and match that up with your R888s and you'll be fine.

Yeah, the 275 would be better, but you never said what size your front wheels are, so I took a guess and said 18x9. Since it's 18x9.5 go with the 275/35/18 and if you decide to go with the 305/35/18 R888 down the road go with a 275/40/18 up front.

Use the tire size calculator on discount tire direct's website. It will tell you exactly what each tires dimensions are.

I would've gone with the 305/35/18 for the back to be honest. I have them with my 18x11 F14's and are perfect. Taller tire than the 315's. For the front I have the T1 sports but would recommend the kdw's or nt555's because the T1's look a little on the thin side but picked them up for mine because I got them dirt cheap. Good luck bud.

I was going to but I plan on taking her pretty low on the coil overs so I wanted the shorter side wall.

A 315/30-18 tire has 793 revs/mile with a 3.7" sidewall

275/35-18 has 788 revs/mile which yields +0.5% variance with a 3.8" sidewall

265/35-18 has 797 revs/mile which yields -0.5% variance with a 3.7" sidewall

You can comfortably fit a 265 tire on a 9.5" rim. That's what I would go with so it doesn't throw your speedo off.

I just went through this same thing, I will be running R888's on all 4 corners

I ended up with 305/35 rears and 275/35 up front

WAAAAY to much buldge on those 315's, not to mention the 305 and 315 have just about the same contact patch that touches the ground
