Ran into this ad tonight. The '64 GTO was the first high performance car I got to ride in. A friend of mine got it for his birthday when he was a senior in high school. Dark blue 4-speed, Tri-Power. At the time it was a beast on the street.

The AMX (390) always intrigued me back in the day. It held its own on the street but couldn't really compete with the big block Vette and other big block muscle cars of that time. One of my favorites, though, along with the SC/Rambler & Rebel Machine.

My dad lived in Farmington Hills, outside Detroit. He and my grandfather had a lot of GTO's. All of them were modified, even after buying them from these guys.....
