That reminds me of this segment on Jay Leno's 1916 Autocar truck. One of the few times a youtube video that long is worth the watch and not cluttered up with crap.

Autocars are still in production, and haven't changed that much. I'm kidding- they outsource a lot of their design, parts and assemblies overseas now.

Minerva Molted!
Brachypelma Emilia also know as the Mexican Red leg.

Old Minerva is on the left and kinda dull. I thought she was dying because when they molt they usually go tits up. She stayed upright and as legs curled I thought she was in the death curl. She is very vulnerable now because it is will be a few days before her exoskeleton hardens. I have to capture a few roaming crickets and Dubia roaches. The hunter is now the prey.

You can see her escape hatch open and look at her holes that she had to shake loose from. I lifted the thorax cover or shell so you could see.
