Long-time no update.

Sadly with winter here the car is sitting under the cover in the garage...but...just ordered some goodies today.

American Racing Long Tube Headers
-1 7/8th
-3" Collector
-3" Off Road X

Pretty excited. I will be ordering the following in the very near future.

-ATI 10% Lower
-Unlocked PCM
-Injectors (Not sure which ones yet)
-180* Thermostat

Then dyno tune.

With the following mods and my existing ones I should be able to crack 8XX rwhp on 93. Performance Dyno in NH will be tuning the car.

Cheers.

That's going to be nice!
Especially all on 93 pump gas!

I hope to see your beast this coming summer, Ray. You have a real stunner there. Those new mods are going to raise the adrenalin meter for sure.

Awesome stuff Ray! She should be such a beast now.
Hopefully it doesn't rain, but they are calling for showers tonight in my area and possibly rain tomorrow. Hopefully it holds out. Good luck and keep us posted.

Thanks Tony. I'm stoked. I hope it doesn't rain either but it doesn't look very promising for me.

Yes!!!!

I’m guessing 875-900.

Really? I was hoping for 800 to the tire....we'll see what happens.

I love the looks of the Challenger! I'll go as to far as to say they still look American Muscle where as the Mustang 15+ looks more Euro Sports car than American Muscle. I did rent a V8 once in Comp Orange and aside from the looks I hated everything about it. Hated the gauges, layout of everything and the fact it felt like a boat. I know you can make amazing power with them however and still a fan.

I love the look of the Challenger, too. It's been around a long time now but it never gets old. Ray's Challenger is great looking in the photos, but you should see it in person. Stunning! He takes excellent care of it and his mods are well done. Just an awesome car. A car you can't help stare at.

Thanks everyone for the kind words.

Besides the rain this morning, everything went awesome with the car. Secondly, I just want to thank Josh at Performance Dyno for the awesome tune. He is a stand up guy, very knowledgeable and was super careful with the car (strapping it down, where he put the wires on the car etc.). I am very meticulous and he could instantly tell and I appreciate that.

The first pull the car made 761/734. Second pull it did 768/722. The power curve for the torque was a little bumpy and he said lets add another degree of timing, and if the car responds well we'll keep it that way.

On 14 degrees of timing on 93 Octane, the car made 786 rwhp and 744 ft lbs of torque, SAE corrected. Uncorrected numbers were 794/751.

We took the car down the road to data log and I hit the car in 2nd gear, it dead hooked, and all I have to say is the car is an absolute monster. It's by far the fastest car I have ever owned and drove for that matter.

On the way home I dropped the car off at my buddies shop for him to install my new redeye spoiler and also for him to ceramic coat it. It's going to rain here for the next 5 days so it won't be so bad to have it there.

I am going to try and put some videos together from today. I took some pics but I will add them tomorrow. They're too big to upload and I need to resize them.

Thanks

Ray

Is Nick doing your ceramic coating? I had mentioned to you that my buddy was hopefully going to ceramic coat my Genesis G70. He did confirm he was planning on doing it so I drop it off this Friday and it will be ready for pickup Sunday afternoon. He assured me that even though the car is brand spanking new, I'd be amazed at how it is going to look after he finishes detailing it. Right down to the red Brembo calipers. Can't wait to pick it up Sunday.

Let us know how happy you are with Nick's work? ;)

Bob, Nick already corrected and ceramic coated my car last year. Because I am installing a new spoiler, I wanted him to do it so he could ceramic coat the spoiler as well as the trunk area under the spoiler. He also is doing a maintenance wash for me. I do not trust many people with my car but I would leave my car with Nick an

I love that garage.

Thank you!

Ah, I misunderstood. I thought you were having your entire car ceramic coated. You're very meticulous with the car of your Hellcat, Ray. That's great that you've got someone you can trust with your car. Especially one of Hellcat pedigree.
