I have been seeing this alot lately, and was wondering why they get this? Is walking that bad for the body?

yeah my local mall has them. I find it funny that they have to wear helmets and all the pads

Walking= burning calories(god forbid we do that nowadays)=eating more donuts.

Long term=this is a money saver

I suppose if you have to carry a bunch of stuff then this (with the side bags) might be helpful, but I would think it could be hazardous in a crowded mall.

But I was wondering just how fast and agile those segways are? Are they going to be able to keep up with someone running?

Yeah thats arden mall, hahaha a few months ago I seen one of these guys fall off of one. I almost pissed my pants laughing.

The security guards at the school started using those recently. Some of the younger ones still use bikes though.

The campus safety officers at my college have these things... They roll around in them all the time and I laugh my ass off.
