Rear Coil-Over Issue

My Rear MM Bilstein coil-overs are noisey when going over small sharp bumps.

I've noticed that when the car is in the air, the upper spring perch is loose enough that I can jangle it all around.

Do you think this could cause the noise I'm hearing?

Are you sure its not your chassis squeaking? The spring being loose like that is normal when no weight is on it.

You might need to tighten the upper rubber shock mount. The loose spring on droop is normal.

I put a few more turns on the upper mount. I think they may have been a little bit loose. Thanks for the advice.

I had to tighten them a few turns more than MM recommended.
