Today I got email saying payment received on my paypal. Now I didn't sign in through my email since I figured it was a scam. So I went to the paypal website signed in and 400bucks is in my account. It's from some cigeratte.net something. Should I just let it sit in my account and see if they contact me? or just cash it now and go spend it ha.

Email the person who sent it to you and ask if they accidently sent it in error. They probably typed in the wrong email address that was similiar to yours. Somwhere, someone is scratching their head right now. $400 is a lot of money.

I'd let it sit....

If it's an error, paypal will fix it... pull it from your account.

If it's still in there in a month or so... I'd pull it.

I would refund it. Just because if you don't and whoever sent it realizes it, all they gotta do is file a Non Receipt claim. If you cash out an close your account, chances are they'll find a way to get the money from you. Refund it and save yourself the trouble.

Just my $.02

Try and contact the sender, if they do not respond in a month or so consider it a gift. If you still feel guilty give it to charity.
