As you all know our cars can be pretty low and some car jacks just won't fit in some of those tight places. What are you guys using?
i just drive up on a couple 1inch boards and then put the jack under it.
i've got one craftsman low-pro aluminum jack, but the problem is the length. when it's under the car to jack it up the handle is basically right up against the rocker. i also have a standard larger size jack, so i just drive the car up on 2x8s and then jacking with either jack is easy. you'd really need a long bodied low-pro jack and then you'd be good.
I agree...the rocker panel gets in the way and I would hate to scratch that...
Blackhawk Low Profile Service Jack — 2-Ton Capacity, Model# 29023 | Floor Jacks | Northern Tool + Equipment
I bought one of these a bit pricey but worth it IMO. I can get under my k member in one shot without driving up on blocks
