Love sonic blue. Every time I see sonicblurs car I think I messed up buying mine. I wouldn't give you crap but I'm sure others would.
I think you would be better off selling yours and buying a mint sonic blue.
The cost of a quality repaint would be 10k. Plus for collectibility purposes the car would remain original.
thats what I was thinking.. I wld want everything that is silver.. sonic.. so im guessing they wld have to pull the engine to do the bay =/
1 of 242 is awesome. However i would not paint over it, i would sell and get a SB if that is what you want. Here are two recent pictures that i had taken that no one has seen yet. Dont know if it will help your decision. Enjoy

OP, do not paint that car. IMO, Silver is one of my favorite colors. A silver 10th was my #1 choice of a terminator. Sell it and buy a SB if you want one that badly.

I agree about not painting over the original paint. Too much expense. And if it is not done perfectly, people will know it's been changed.

I looked at a sonic blue car with 7800 miles on it a while back. That color looks so good on these cars. I damn near bought it. I agree with the above. Especially since your color had so few produced. Sell it and get SB. Don't paint it.

It matters to me.:beer:I kinda wish I held out for an sb, that color is the tits, but my satin has grown on me. I would suggest buying an sb before painting yours. Go with something one-off if you ever do paint it a different color.

I'm the same way with Oxford White especially after seeing pictures of my old Mach 1. I think if I ever find an Oxford White Cobra that really like I'll end up with it.
Honestly any colored cobra looks good imo ...and I get asked alot....hey did yo:banana:u repaint that car blue ? And I respond no its original and it was only offered in 2003 for the cobras!!

Sonic Blue does look really good... But then again, they all look good. Op nice pics! I still dig my Silver Metallic.
