I finally made my appointment to get tuned at Horsepower soultions in Edmonton. With fr500 intake "short runner only", comp 106100 cams, gt followers, PAC springs, hooker longtubes, o/r x pipe.

So what rpm will the fr500 peak with tho's cams ?
And what are the rpm/horsepower limit of stock internals ?

I also will be using 01' cobra ecu, which I already tested to 7500

You'll be fine. Ran mine to 7k all the time and you've got a better equipped topend

7500 on powdered metal rods would make me cringe every time. I wouldn't take those rods above 6500 but that's just me.

Good luck being a guinea pig, I'm sure others are just as curious. Didn't the 96 cobra's have a 7200 rev limit? I wouldn't be afraid to run it to that, anything higher would increase the pucker factor.

When are you coming to Edmonton? I'd like to see the car on the dyno.

Not me. Don't you need electric water pump?

Nope... You can get away with just running the water pump & alternator.

I'll post the old run file over the new one.

7200-7300 will be my limit. I'm heading down the 12-13th to Calgary for some training. Then getting tuned the 19th or 20th. My buddy's getting his 10' GT, e-force/ meth tuned the same day. And then off to Castrol Friday night.... If all goes well
