I was wondering if I get the sctx4 from American muscle with the name tunes can I use it later to store a custom tune from a tuner when I get more modifications?

yes, doesnt matter where you buy it or who puts tunes on it, you/any other tuner can put tunes on it later

Sorry guys have one more question and didn't feel the need to make a new thread on it.
So say I get the Sct x4 and have it married to the car that I have now. I am in the process of swapping a new 4.6 SOHC into my car. Its the same engine just a new one. Will that cause me to not be able to use the tuner? Or does the tuner only see the VIN on the car computer?

If you use same computer then I don't see why the new engine would matter.
