Here's what we know so far: that wonderful flat plane crank V8 with at least 500 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque; Ford's first ever magnetic ride suspension; 130 pounds lighter than the GT350; and no air conditioning or a rear seat.

for everyone bitching about how this and that looks - they make a mustang GT and base GT350 for you. this car isn't for you.

Hmmmmm, not feeling the rims. All else looks ok.

Beautiful car, But I'd have to agree.... Needs different rims.

I would imagine the processes required to make the wheels played a large part in the final design of the wheels. Plus whatever size/shape the spokes needed to be to meet safety regulations, etc.

Well since they're 100% carbon fiber, you can feel free to add about 40lbs with your aluminum wheels of choice and probably make a pretty penny when selling those as well.

+1. Wheels were made for performance primarily, aesthetics second.

Ford dropping all the mics on NAIAS!! Ford GT, Raptor EcoBeast and GT350R!

In the end it was real, Carbon Fibre wheels. Damn.

Cant wait to see the R vs Z/28 comparos!
