Shelby Harness Bar installed

Hi guys -

Installed the Shelby Harness Bar over the weekend with a pair of Schroth harnesses (Profi II for passenger / Hybrid II for driver). Here's some images:

I got the Corbeau bar and belts and painted it SGM to match the car. Makes for a nice mount for my GoPro too.

Correct. In a roll over with a 4/5/6 point harness and a harness bar if the roof collapses you don't have the ability to crouch down in the seat and the roof can literally collapse on top of you.

They look cool with the belts but honestly they are not suitable for any type of motorsport function. They might let you use them in an HPDE event.

And they work great for Autocross events. What's even better is you havn't lost your stock belts so any event that allows OEM but not these can still be run without an issue.
