Shift Handle

Are there any companies out there that sell any extended handles? I can't locate an A47 or Steeda Comfort shifter handle.

I may try to see if I can have a friend make one. Does anyone have any measurements? I'd want to get fairly close to those without making a bunch of test fits.

I couldn't find it on AM's site.

I've already got the tri-ax, I just need a longer handle. When I'm strapped in on the track, it's hard to reach with my short arms.

Ya, Steeda no longer makes the "Comfort Grip" shift handle.
Its to bad, it was a great piece.

Good luck, I dont know who else makes anything like that.

I'm actually working with my machinist to make a track ergonomic shift handle similar to the A47 or comfort grip I think it will only be compatible with aftermarket short shifters . I should be able to provide a prototype pretty soon

This is the MGW shifter I have.

1990-2004 Mustang SHORT THROW SHIFTER

It works for me belted in, and I'm 5'8". They used to make two versions, red and blue. The red was shorter and the blue longer. A blue might work for you, but they stopped making both of them and came out with this compromise.
Maybe if you contact them they still have one, or can make one. :shrug:

I still use the stock shifter on my 98 cobra and have no issues with reaching it when strapped in. I'm not very tall either. Are you guys using currently using short shifters?
