Just wondering what RPM's you guys are shifting while spraying. Currently I have a 100 shot shifting between 6600 and 6800 rpm's, thinking about increasing to 150 shot and purchasing a boss intake. How much can stock bottom motor handle?

Thanks

Marcus

How much nitrous can stock motor handle? I've seen 175 - 200 flowing like crazy. Guy local running 175 weekly. This is awesome.

It's such a grey area on shot size. It will take a 150 all day on wet. 125 on dry. Anything over that. We recommend swapping out parts. A 200 shot, we will recommend a motor build

Again thanks Steve you always been a big help. Not to many vendors take the time to help folks. The boss intake is going on Saturday and is upping to 150 shot. Again thanks.

Kewl, thanks everybody for their replies. Saturday is the day to install boss intake, up the shot, and retune. Just been thinking where I should spray to without killing my motor but make the most power. Svtperformance family is awesome.

I have my window switch set at 7300 and shift at 7300-7500. I would recommend going with E85 to help with the 150. Plenty of guys fun 91/93 without issues

Mine shifts at 7300.

why shift a boss intake car so low? Unless that isn't what you meant.

I would even think with spraying, the car being shifted at 7300 throws you right out of the powerband and has to fight its way back in there.

At least should be shifting 7600 minimum.

Else wise you should go back to the stock manifold and shift at 6800-6900 :D

You will not feel a 300rpm difference.

Mines running a 11.12 at 124 on a 100 shot. Working just fine.
