Lift and a torpedo heater
Propane does suck, but....As ive stated, I have a setup like that. I dont like it because of the size, and propane in the shops sucks frankly.
Turn around work?Propane does suck, but....
How much faster can you turn around work with a lift? I dress in layers and lay mats on the concrete in cold weather. As I get hot, I strip layers.
In that case, I'd have to lean toward HVAC.Turn around work?
I dont use my shop to make money. And I only work on my toys so speed is rarely a concern.
In that case, I'd have to lean toward HVAC.
Maybe a nice slimline unit with a heat pump feature?
Heck, if you can do that, go for it. Heat and a lift will make life so much betterAnything that cools would be useless. I count on one hand the days i see above 90 a year.
My house doesnt even have ac.
That said, i queried my insurance again. Because my shop is detached I can apparently heat it however I want. Theyve changed policy since I bought the house. If I use wood, I have to pay a surcharge. But I already pay it because I have this in my house...
So with as cheap as pellet stoves areaybe I'll do both.

Get the lift if you can only afford one or the other.Would you rather have a well setup thermostat controlled heater. Such as
Reznor UDAP-75 Power Vented Gas Fired Unit Heater, NG, Aluminized Heat Exchanger - 75,000 BTU
With install costs and the $$$ to run gas lines to it figure $3000
Or a nice bend pak lift?
