I think the TR3650 has a .67 OD gear as well as the T45. I know my car has factory gears and the math works out for my RPM to be a .67 OD Gear. Unless somehow my 01 Cobra has a T45 in it.
The earlier 3650's have .67 OD. I think in 2003 they went to the .62 OD.
t45 and the 3650 in the '01 cobra's both have identical gear ratios(.67 5th). the 3650 in the 03/04 mach 1's have the .62 5th.Bob Cosby said:

does anyone have the specs out of a Mach 1 Trans. If it is exact or similar to a 01 Cobras ratios but with a .62OD that would be amazing. .62 OD would drop cruising RPMs about 225 RPM which i'll take (4.30s) but i hope for a similar size first gear for a fast take off.
Ok - didn't realize that. I was simply going by Tremec's website numbers.
The .62 is the only thing that really makes the 3650 worth more than the T45, IMHO. It does have a higher torque rating, but that comes at the price of more weight.

it's cool. i just didn't want anyone to be confused in later threads about gear/rpm/speed....a .62 5th would be a tad nicer though!Bob Cosby said:
I'm pretty positive the 1st-4th gears are identical. The only change is the OD gear.
