Stock style socks and filters are fine. I would recommend changing the filter after your first couple of tanks though.

If it's readily available in your area, do it. I switched to a stainless mesh filter just to be safe, but other than that nothing special. I picked up enough to justify the switch and the cooling effect of the E-85 is worth it alone. I don't go too nuts on the street with it, but back to back 2nd-3rd gear hits in 85-95 degree weather doesn't slow it down at all 
On 93 I would notice after one overzealous hit that it would slow down a decent amount. I/C fluid stays cool for awhile compared to the instant heating of the I/C fluid on 93.
