Side Scoops

In trying to order a new Shelby, I tried ordering the side scoops.
They are listed on the internet as an option, but the dealers do not have a code for them. It has been mentioned they may be dealer available or not available due to speed potential. Anyone have them on their 2013 or have any experience in ordering them as an option?

You need to buy them after the fact. Not when ordering your vehicle

You can get them pre-painted and pretty cheap aftermarket

10-13s are the same scoops... Can pick them up anytime. They're attached with 3M. Doubt that speed potential is a factor.

Ordered them with my Shelby today, dealer was even the one to ask if i wanted the option.

Well, my order is in, I hope, but without factory installed side scoops. Anyone have them on their new Shelby? ..., not after market ones. IMO they look out of place due to sharp lines and too small.

what side scoops are the dealers installing on shelbys? same as the gt and v6?

Because the factory scoops are almost twice as much, and cheaply made. They also don't look nearly as good IMHO.
