Which rotors are you trying?

Cheap rotors from O’Reilly’s called Brake Best Select and Hawk HPS Pads.

Don’t know if I want to paint the calipers Mystic or Metallic Gray or Silver...

I could fit my finger between the fender and spoiler

Where did you get the spoiler? These aftermarket ones seem so hit and miss. It really makes me think I'll end up buying one directly from Saleen.

eBay. GBH, Inc. Wing Tech.

It was cheap enough to post on CL and make $5! Sold the same day I posted it.

I had an authentic Saleen S281 wing that warped; shown in an earlier post.

I’m considering going wingless or T-1. Either option will require patching painting the deck lid, so it’ll be the stock spoiler for now.

Let the repairs begin

The front bumper was repainted and he did an awful job, so I decided to do both bumpers

I got a second wind and started prepping the calipers.

Decided not to paint them Mystic. Initially I thought glossy metallic silver but now I’m considering a wrinkle finish. Thoughts? Suggestions?

I plan on painting the bumper next week. In the meantime I’m going to tackle the brakes. I changed the fronts recently, but reused the rotors. Had them cut, however, they were at their limit and appear to be warped.

Note the rust pattern

Purchased new rotors and decided to paint them to avoid the unsightly rust

On to the calipers....

I keep considering painting my calipers and rotor hubs bronze to accent the mineral grey.

Looks good, I had mine redone last year, while it was expensive it was worth it. I don't have any pics because 2 weeks like the engine let go and its been down ever since.

Sorry to hear about your engine. That’s a tough one.

Painted the calipers. Went with cast iron on the calipers and aluminum on on the brackets and letters upfront and all cast iron on the rear. Added some Maximum Motorsports SS brake lines.

Car looks great!

But it looks like the front bumper cover is angled downward IMO. The line gap gets wider from the tire towards the headlight between the bumper cover and fender. It's also much more pronounced where the bumper cover meets the hood.
