Base 2014 Auto is 54lbs lighter than the Base 2015 Auto. (the model I ordered, is 54lbs heavier)
The world is made because the car gained a little bit of weight. The 2010 comment was referring to how I keep on seeing people say "You are dumb buying a 2015. It is the first model. Ford is going to screw you over like they did with 2010 Mustang GT owners"
My post was basically made, to express the fact that I could careless about the 54lbs...ESPECIALLY now that I am aware of all the epicness with this new 2015.
I do hope you enjoy your 15, and have no doubt you will. I will enjoy following yours, and others, as they wring them out. Unfortunately, based on my very narrow desires for the Mustang, it just isn't for me. Sucks for me, good for you and for whomever else pulls the trigger. Such is life.
I dont think 54lbs is much when consider they've added a complete irs rear suspension which is in no way going to be lighter then a live axle. They've added more power to compensate. Remove the spare tire and jack from gt cars and you lose 40lbs. Don't know if these cars have spare tires but if they do you can take 40lbs out in 5 minutes!
I know all my questions are probably too early but... Ahaha! Anyways can we put our heads from 11-14 Coyotes onto the new blocks? What makes you sure these blocks will be strong than the 11-14 blocks? As my next build (Turbo will need a stout block and hell if this 15 block is a stronger option and compatible with my current RGR heads then I'd love to use it. DI if it ever makes it into production with our mustangs will be iffy (look at the C7 and how long it's taken them)
