Its mig welded, its got to be mild steel.

Oh, by the way, thats a bar, not a cage. I know its just a matter of wording, but some people arent sure of the difference and this might give them the chance to see the difference. A cage has a halo and down bars around/through the dash.

Looks very clean and professional!

You have to do what you have to do to go fast! LOL At least he has removeable swingouts for daily driving which is nice.

I used to drive this around on the street...LOL

I realize he 'needs' a cage to run in the 10's at sanctioned tracks and it is for your safety, it just sucks to have that in a brand new car!!

Your old car looks like it was a beast!! :rockon:

Yep, Mild steel. And yes, I know, bar, most guys don't know when you say you put a bar in though, lol.

I agree. But I don't plan on slowing down and plan on trying to do the whole nmra series next year.

atleast they were nice and put the X in the door low to make it easy to get in and out of... a buddy of mine has his up high and it looks like a PITA to get in and out of

Yeah, the low x and removeable wheel made it nice. That was actually a wolfe 25.5 kit. Came out nice!

well she's a race car now. j/k looks good but man the roll bar is cleaner than the door jams lol. how much do weight do you think it added. have you done any reduction like the radiator support.

That looks great. I love the color match on the cage. Are you going to delete the back seats? It kinda looks like a death trap for anyone sitting back there.
