some idiot cut factory fog light harness

I bought a 03 cobra and it didn't have fog lights in it. I bought new fog lights and was gonna install them but the previous owner cut the plugs off the end. I bought harness from late model restoration but both wires are black. so how do I know which wires from the factory harness goes where on the new harness?

I would have someone hit the switch while you hold the wires together and check which ones turn the lights on

I don't think polarity matter on the fog lights. Not going to hurt anything regardless. Just wire them one way, one at a time & if they don't work, switch them. Someone probably had hid fog in, and cut the wires for that. My car had those useless things & I immediately went back to stockers.

Just put them in and polarity didn't matter. I used the LMR plugs, soldered, heat shrink and done. If you are not 100% convinced... like other said strip the wires and touch them together until you blow a fuse or get light lol.
