C&C is welcomed as always.

I had the car for three weeks now, had my mechanic install Mazdaspeed springs yesterday. The car is slow in the straight line but a blast in turns, gets great gas mileage and insurance is cheaper then my Nissan Maxima. Signed up for two autox events next month, will be learning how to not sucks.

A Miata is going to be my next car and if you haven't done an auto-x yet...well you will get addicted. They are a lot of fun.

i love miatas! i had a turbo 1990 before my mustang. especially in the first gen ones, you know you look gay as hell in it, but you are having so much fun you don't care. i haven't had a chance to play with any other the newer ones yet to see how they compare to the older ones though. have fun with it man!

Shoot me a PM if you want some info on local clubs to run with in the area. I have been autocrossing since 2000 and there are three clubs in particular that run events that give tons of seat time as well as being relaxed and fun. Lots of Miata experience as well. Just sold my Miata after 4 years.

Nice car BTW!

My brother has one. I've driven it several times, and they are indeed, an absolute blast to drive. They feel like they are on rails in the curves.

I dont mind Miata's. Why don't more guys buy a S2000 instead?

The S2000 does cost more to operate, but initial cost being equal I would have rather got a S2000. S2000 was first choice but in my budget it would be a much older one with more miles then the Miata.
