What was actually the problem?

The motor was just dead.. I was running on 6 cylinders and about 100 miles away from my motor basically breaking in two. They never told me exactly what was wrong but I could tell I needed a new motor..

Just out of curiosity what cooling mods did you have if any?

I had a larger I/C resevoir since OCT of last year roughly 26k miles

Larger Heat exchanger since 19K miles..thats it.

im curious on why you think a procharger is junk. ive seen 2 of them recently in the for-sale section for 25k. no one seemed interested in them at all though? thanks

Kit was poorly designed and didn't do what it was supposed to..i was a prototype tester and i hoped for the best and came up short.

have you thought about MMR instead of VT? . MMR's prices and knowlege are kickass, MMR is the route im gonna be going without a dought. You can get their fully built 5.0 Stroker for 3699 with all the goodies inside, you should look em up.

I'm not set on any builder yet,but yes MMR was a company i was going to look at without a doubt...their prices are killer.

damn sorry bud. that was really quick i hope everything goes well. Did you ever make a vid of your car with the Procharger back like a while ago where it starts off with a guy walking away then you see the car in a shop starting up??? was that yours?

btw, my friends mom bought him a used civic for his first car. completely stock and everything. eventually started making that EXACT noise that i hear in your video. needless to say it went to the dealer and never came back, they said the motors done.

Sorry to hear that man. It sounds more like a wrist pin or a piston to me. How is your oil pressure?
Either way it still sucks but at least you will be stronger next year.

i wasnt downing VT, but there is other options out there. Mark's experience is pretty well known in the mod motor racing community, he has developed alot of products.

Kinda makes me want to get a 99-04GT or cobra and surprise a few people ;-)
